Hello, I’m Sharon and I am the director of CHHC.

This is my story…

I am the Director of

Cheadle Hulme Hypnotherapy & Coaching.

I am separate to Cheadle Hulme Physio, but I run my sessions in one of their clinic rooms.

I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Licensed NLP Master Practitioner, Life Skills Coach, Corporate Consultant and Trainer.

I have a BA Degree passed with First Class Honours and an MSc Degree passed with Distinction - I tell you this not to impress you, but to impress upon you, what you can achieve when you give your brain proper instructions, when you “Think by Design”, “Think on Purpose” and send your brain in the right direction.

I bring to you my unique blend of Therapy and Coaching: by combining my skills and experience, with my highly Academic and Professional Qualifications, whether that’s for Individuals or Groups of People.


I have over 30 years of experience, working with people, to help them easily overcome personal issues, plan and achieve their goals. 28 years in the Education Sector (18 years as a Senior Manager) working with adults and children of all ages.

For over 30 years, I have been using all the tools and techniques I will use with you, very successfully, to help people change and create the life they want to lead.

I am dedicated to helping people to achieve change easily and effortlessly. Why? Because you can!

Hypno-Relax / Mental-Massage

1 Hour Hypnosis Relaxation Sessions - Like a Sports Massage but for the Mind. Regular Hypno-relax sessions can de-stress your mind and keep your mental wellbeing on track. Your Hypno-relax session comes with a choice of outcomes. You can focus on:

1) Relaxation/De-stress, 2) Confidence Boost, 3) Pain Relief

Sessions can be Individual or up to a Group of 4 People. Why not book your friends in and all have a Mental Massage.

Package: Self-Hypnosis Workshops

Learn Self-Hypnosis with my easy to understand package of 4 workshop sessions. Self-Hypnosis can be used for general Health and Wellbeing or for something more specific, such as Pain Management, Anxiety or Self-Confidence.

Package: banish negativity Workshops

Are you constantly thinking negative thoughts? Do you see the ‘Problems’ with everything rather than seeing the ‘Solutions’.

Are you constantly asking yourself “why'“ you have this negativity and these problems? STOP NOW! Asking ‘why’ keeps you stuck in the problem. Work with me and I will teach you how to engage your brain effectively, by asking ‘how’ instead of ‘why: ‘HOW’ are you doing the problem (we are all individuals with our own unique ways of doing problems/negativity) and ‘HOW can we effectively deal with it?

Package: #lab (leave anxiety behind)

If you come to my clinic and tell me you have anxiety, I will ask…

“Have you brought it with you? Is it in your bag”

You will look at me as if I’m mad and most likely respond with…

“Well, no I don’t “have” anxiety, I can’t put it in a bag.”

And I will say…

“That’s Right.”

Anxiety is a feeling and behaviour, not something that we ‘have’ or that we can ‘carry’ around. It is something that we ‘do’, and how I ‘do’ anxiety may be very different to the way that you ‘do’ anxiety. We have to understand that it is a VERB - we actively do anxiety. It is not a NOUN and we cannot put it in our bag or in a wheelbarrow!

So, that’s the first step to dealing with anxiety accomplished!

Now, prior to coming to work with me, consider this…

  • How do you know when it’s time to do anxiety?

  • How exactly do you do anxiety? What specifically do you do?

  • How do you know when to stop? (you can’t maintain that state all the time - it’s too exhausting!)

  • How do you know who to do it with?

  • How do you know which particular events to do it about?

Doing anxiety takes adequate planning! Now, imagine what you could do with all that spare time you will gain, when you work with me.

So now, consider this…

  • What will you do with all that spare time, now that you are no longer doing anxiety?

  • What positive things would you rather spend your time thinking about?

  • What positive events could you be “adequately planning” instead?

PACKAGE: PAIN MANAGEMENT

Whilst pain can be a ‘pain’, it is there for a reason and can alert us to a problem that may need medical attention (ALWAYS seek Medical Attention First (I won’t work with you until you have!)).
